Dr. Yehya S. Ibrahim

Dr. Ibrahim, the chief dental specialist of OraCare, has steered the clinic with a
commitment to excellence and patient care. He leads a dedicated team consisting of 4
dentists, 10 nurses, 2 sterilization room staff, and over 20 support personnel.
Dr. Ibrahim was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Upon graduating from high
school, he moved abroad to embark on his dentistry journey in Pakistan, where he was
distinguished by a gold medal for academic excellence from the de’montmorency
College of Dentistry in Lahore. Dr. Ibrahim was the first foreign student to achieve such
an honor in the history of the university. Following his early academic achievements, Dr.
Ibrahim expanded his expertise through an orthodontic post-graduate diploma,
completed in 2003. His dedication to comprehensive care led him to a rigorous one-year
oral surgery residency at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan, further
broadening his surgical proficiency. He continued his post-graduate journey to the
United Kingdom, where he successfully undertook the Royal College of Surgeons of
England Membership Exam in 2004. His return to Ethiopia, after advanced education
abroad, marked the beginning of a significant contribution to dental health in his
homeland. He was recognized by the Ministry of Health as a dental specialist and has
since been a key figure in the field.
Continuing his pursuit of knowledge and training, Dr. Ibrahim earned a Master’s Degree
in Clinical Dentistry, Orthodontics, and Dentofacial Orthopedics from BPP University,
London, in 2019, distinguishing himself with merit.
Beyond his clinical duties, Dr. Ibrahim is also an active participant in shaping the future
of dental health in Ethiopia. He has served in leadership roles within the Ethiopian
Dental Association, having previously served as the vice president of the committee and

currently serves and the chairman of the scientific committee. He has also served as a
chief editor of the Ethiopian Dental Journal.
An attendee and speaker at international dental conferences Dr. Ibrahim is affiliated with
several leading dental and professional societies including the American Dental
Association, American Orthodontic Society, International Association for Orthodontics,
World Federation of Orthodontists, British Orthodontic Society, Global Dental Scientific
Alliance, and the Word Federation of Laser Dentistry. These affiliations are a testament
to his dedication to the dental field and his ongoing pursuit of excellence.
